The Tías City Council has started this Thursday, December 12, the II Christmas Crafts Fair, which will be held from December 12 to 15 in the Plaza de las Naciones, in Puerto del Carmen. The inauguration was attended by a large number of residents of the municipality and many tourists from Puerto del Carmen.
The mayor, José Juan Cruz, has thanked "the participation of more than 56 artisans from Lanzarote and other Canary Islands. As you can see, crafts, gastronomy and music come together in Tías to support the best of our customs and traditions."
The Councilor for Commerce, Miriam Hernández, highlights "the number of tourists so that artisans can increase their sales and that a piece of Lanzarote and the Canary Islands reaches European homes."
The City Council encourages "not to miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the Christmas atmosphere, support local crafts and enjoy a Christmas full of tradition and flavor with the family." In addition, the Tías City Council thanks the Cabildo of Lanzarote for its collaboration in this second edition of the exhibition.
