The FesTVal Lanzarote closes the conference with the awards ceremony

The Gran Hotel Arrecife was the setting this Saturday, July 6 for the presentation of the first edition of the FesTVal Lanzarote Awards as the closing of the Meetings FesTVal Lanzarote conferences that have taken place this week on the island.

The awards distinguish the career of professionals in the audiovisual sector as well as the impact and transcendence of outstanding television formats on the current scene. In this first edition, the winners have been Jaume Banacolocha, Jalis de la Serna and Zazza the Italian, Fundación Inocente, Inocente, Mariola Cubells, Academia de TV and Radio Televisión Canaria

Jaume Banacolocha (CEO of Diagonal TV, Banijay Company). He is one of the main television producers in our country, responsible for such iconic and successful series as 'Isabel', 'La novia gitana', 'La catedral del mar' or 'Amar es para siempre'. His impeccable career has been characterized by contributing his knowledge of the medium and knowing how to adapt to changes and reinvent himself with daily series such as 'Sueños de libertad', which is currently a success on Antena 3, or 'Regreso a las Sabinas', which will be the first daily series of a platform, in this case Disney+.

Jalis de la Serna and Zazza the Italian, for the program 'Apatrullando' of laSexta, for combining two ways of generating content in a program that shows the essence of street reporting, with reports in their purest form, from the everyday to tense and exciting situations... led by the best possible tandem: Jalis as a reference reporter journalist and Zazza as a content generator on YouTube.

Fundación Inocente, Inocente. Established in 1995, it was promoted to carry out activities for the benefit of children within the Spanish territory. Each year it promotes the Gala Inocente, Inocente on television, whose purpose is to raise awareness in society and raise funds to support different needs of children through a television format that has been entertaining the audience for decades.

Mariola Cubells. Recognized journalist, audiovisual analyst and communication expert who unconditionally supports the audiovisual sector with her work as a television analyst in programs such as 'La Ventana', from Cadena SER since 2012, and leaving evidence of her talent in books such as '¿Y tú qué miras' or 'Mejor que nunca'.

Academia de TV, for being a unique meeting point for dialogue, reflection and alliances in the Spanish audiovisual sector, giving voice to professionals and the various operators in our country. Public and private televisions, audiovisual platforms, management entities and representatives of all trades in the sector participate in it.

Radio Televisión Canaria for the 25th anniversary of its television channel. Televisión Canaria celebrates 25 years since its first broadcast; on August 21, 1999, at 1:00 p.m., the autonomous television of the Canary Islands began its journey narrating the island reality. A quarter of a century telling the people of the Canary Islands, with their own voice, everything that happens in their closest environment, without losing sight of what happens outside the Islands.
