The duo of singers Yamandu Costa and Domingo El Colorao, made the public vibrate at the presentation of their album 'De Vida y Vuelta' at the 'Víctor Fernández Gopar- El Salinero' Theater. It was the place chosen by the duo to present their first album on Thursday night.
By chance, Yamandu Costa and Domingo El Colorao met in Fuerteventura and in that meeting, both formalized a friendship that has crossed borders. Currently, their professional relationship has reached Portugal, the current residence of the Brazilian composer and guitarist, where the idea of making this duet recording was conceived and thus uniting ties, a musical connection between the Canary Islands and Latin America.
Yamandu Costa is a guitar genius who dominates and recreates each concert. Once again and without a doubt, he showed it by conquering the public who did not stop applauding each of the compositions exhibited turned into living art. For his part, Domingo El Colorao, unique in his genre, is a virtuoso of the timple for his way of strumming that bears his seal wherever he goes. He is one of the greatest exponents of the timple and has become a reference for all those who, like him, want to approach the most representative instrument of the Canary Islands.
'De Vida y Vuelta' is an album with 13 songs that represents the collaboration between two exceptional musicians. A perfect union of two musical ambassadors, where the timple is highlighted, contributing to its international recognition, in the company of the seven-string guitar, an instrument that Yamandu Costa dominates like no other. The album includes songs such as 'la'; 'Mazurca del Zurdo', 'Natalia', 'Isa Parrandera en Fragmento', 'Tango en Skaï', 'Boliviana', 'De vida y Vuelta' and the composition by José Marcos Hormiga Santana, who is in charge of the presentation prologue.
Yamandu Costa and Domingo El Colorao conquered the public not only for their magnificent work, to which they also added complicity and good humor, two elements that the public captured from the first moment. In the end, the attendees stood up and applauded for the concert to continue. Remember that the presentation tour that began on the island of La Graciosa will continue through Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria.
