Within the program of the II Classical Concert Series, the Classical Orchestra of Lanzarote held the third of the concerts on Saturday night in the José Saramago Hall of the César Manrique Foundation, which this time corresponded to Tango para Cinco y Tangatos "Vivir el Tango".

Attendees were able to enjoy the art and good work of the entire team, which materialized on stage the purest of the genre; the tango of always but as they present and express it playing with strings, violins, viola, cello, double bass and bandoneon. They offered a wide tango repertoire, choosing for this concert from the oldest tangos to the traditional ones of Gardel, also passing through the classics of A. Troilo, to the most modern tango of the well-known composer Astor Piazzolla. Juan Carlos Baeza, Uruguayan double bassist, was in charge of directing each of the musical arrangements that were played in the concert.

The musical selection consisted of about twelve songs, some of them instrumental and others were sung by Andrés Alberto Leoni; a great master who not only sang, but also interpreted each of the passages related to each of the stories. They were also joined by a combination of danced tango, a very innovative proposal that starred the dance teacher Judith García, who left the audience speechless with each of the choreographies carried out and where very carefully classical dance was fused with tango turns.

Judith also shared the purest tango steps with another great dancer, Javier Omar López. When the time came for farewell, and at the request of the public, they performed several encores ending with the one titled Chau París, by Astor Piazzolla.
