Los Campesinos will share the stage with Los Cantadores and the solo voice of Tamara in the 37th edition of the Festival Campesino, one of the oldest and most significant traditional music and dance events in Lanzarote. It will be next August 22nd, at 9:30 PM, in the José Ramírez Cerdá park in Arrecife, as part of the San Ginés festivities program and with free admission. Traditional music, popular songs, and a journey through the island's identity memory will be the focus of one of the most outstanding events on the summer cultural calendar.

On this occasion, the public will be able to enjoy the performance of the Tenerife group Los Cantadores, one of the clearest musical references in the archipelago. Since they became known in 2008 until today, the group has released five albums and performed over 700 live concerts throughout the Canary Islands. This year they celebrate their coming of age, 18 years of career, with a show in which they will review the greatest hits of their repertoire and new compositions that will mark the beginning of this new stage. And alongside them, the popular Andalusian singer Tamara, with a career full of memorable songs, such as "Siempre" or "Si nos dejan".

The proposal for the Festival Campesino 2026 will open with the audiovisual “El poema diario de Titerroygatra”, an emotional tribute to the men and women who have contributed to forging the artistic and cultural imaginary of Lanzarote with their music, their lyrics, their painting, and their artisan work. Among these essential figures are Agustín Espinosa, Ángel Guerra, Dorotea de Armas, Esperanza Spínola, César Manrique, Santiago Alemán, Félix Hormiga, José Saramago, Juan Brito, Gregorio Fuentes, Rafael Arozarena, Inocencia Páez, Josefina Pla, and Luisa Linares.

“And of course, the music, voices, and dance of Los Campesinos will not be missing, who in this 37th gathering continue to look towards the future while contributing to preserving and vindicating the roots, identity, and collective memory of the island,” highlighted the president of the group, Miguel Ángel Corujo, who thanks the support and sponsorship of the Fiestas Department of the Arrecife City Council, the Centers of Art, Culture, and Tourism, and the Culture Department of the Cabildo de Lanzarote.
