The week preludes the Lanzarote Literature Festival, which begins next Thursday with literary events these days throughout the island thanks to Palabras al Vuelo, the island's Oral Storytelling Festival. Arrecife en Vivo continues this Friday with great figures and on Saturday with the local talent of Lanzarote. In addition, the La Musicleta Festival arrives in Lanzarote and will tour La Graciosa, Haría and Guatiza this weekend.
There are also film, theater, and humor proposals, as well as archeology conferences to learn more about the origins of human populations in Lanzarote.

The Words on the Wing festival presents María Buenadicha in an oral storytelling show in which some events that occurred during the Spanish Civil War are recounted. Questions, disturbing secrets, and revealing stories that only survived in the memory of the closest family members.
A tragic story, as personal as it is universal. At times it transforms into poetry and laughter and song, at times it transforms into birds.

The outreach conference 'Archaeology under the sand' about the La Peña de las Cucharas-Fiquinineo site in Teguise, which has become a benchmark for understanding the ancient Canarians, especially the final stage of the Majos.

Lanzarote Visual Music Festival. Pablo Sanz
A new edition of the Lanzarote Visual Music Festival is underway. Born in 1989, the festival integrates avant-garde musical proposals with different languages and in harmony with the scenic spaces of Lanzarote.
The first date is with the opening of Pablo Sanz's immersive installation 'Tibataje,' which explores the sound ecologies of the archipelago through attentive listening to the vitality of life forms. It includes recordings made in the exclusion zone during the eruption of the Tajogaite volcano in La Palma.
