The week starts loaded with interesting cultural offerings throughout the island. The Buñuel Cinema at El Almacén renews its billboard with a double feature of European independent cinema, offering Apuntes para una ficción consentida and El sonido de la caída.

Visual art stars in the encounter on identity between the artist Will Encarnación and the curator Nira Cabrera, while contemporary dance reinterprets island traditions with the show Campesina, campesina.

Music offers options for all tastes: from the baroque of Stabat Mater by the Lanzarote Ensemble, the intimate voice and piano recital by Dúo Bravo in Yaiza, and the morning classical music by Trío Néstor within the framework of the Noon Canarias Festival, to rock and independent music with the start of the acclaimed urban festival Arrecife en Vivo.

As if that were not enough, opera arrives with the V Lanzarote Opera Festival with the zarzuela La verbena de la Paloma, letters and oral tradition with a session by Vicki Dos Santos, Lanzarote identity with the Cultura a Pie de Campo project, the start of theater workshops in Uga, and Canarian humor with Darío López at the 8 Islas Festival.
