The Tías City Council has prepared seven parking areas in Puerto del Carmen for the concert of the Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Pedro Capó on Saturday at 9:30 p.m. in the Plaza del Varadero. Before the concert, around 8:00 p.m., the performance of the Lanzarote DJ Ángel Pérez is scheduled.
The council recommends arriving in Puerto del Carmen in advance to enjoy the concerts and the numerous services offered by the tourist area. Likewise, the surroundings of the stage will have a space prepared so that people with reduced mobility can be placed in an adapted place.
The land prepared as public parking is located on Juan Carlos I street, intersection with Agrupación Gaida street (before the CC Biosfera Plaza), Reina Sofía street, intersection with Salinas street, Salinas street 43-45, Guanapay street 10-12, Rambla Islas Canarias intersection with Anzuelo street, Ireland street intersection with Belgium street and Terrero street 6.
In addition, in collaboration with the taxi drivers' association, the joint provision of the island's taxi service for the Puerto del Carmen area has been facilitated from 11:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
Security and cleaning
The Tías City Council has also reinforced the security service with more personnel from the Local Police and the cooperation of the Civil Guard, Civil Protection and health emergency service. In addition, the cleaning services will be intensified on Sunday morning, with emphasis on the La Tiñosa area.
