Youth took over the night this Saturday, August 22, taking over the Fiestas de San Ginés to star in a day dedicated to urban music, which turned the esplanade of the Recinto Ferial into the meeting point for thousands of young people who arrived in the capital from different corners of the island to enjoy an evening led by Delaossa, the king of rap from Malaga, within the events organized by the Department of Fiestas of the Arrecife City Council, directed by Echedey Eugenio.
The artist was one of the main protagonists of a festival that started at 8:00 PM, with an audience engaged from the beginning. His live performance connected with a generation that made the venue their own and turned every song into part of a great night of festivities.
Alongside Delaossa, the lineup included Reality, DJ Conjurer, and DJ Diego, who were in charge of keeping the rhythm during an event conceived to bring together different sounds and styles around urban music and youth culture.
San Ginés Joven thus demonstrated once again that the patron saint festivals of Arrecife have space for all generations and that young people also want to play a leading role in them. A commitment that adds to a program that during these days has been bringing music, culture, tradition, and leisure to different spaces in the capital.
The event also had the collaboration of the Department of Youth, directed by Rosmen Quevedo, reinforcing the involvement of both municipal areas in offering a program specifically designed for the young people of Arrecife and generating meeting and leisure spaces linked to the festivities.
