On Wednesday afternoon, residents of the San Francisco Javier neighborhood in Arrecife celebrated the feast of their Patron Saint with great devotion. At 6:00 PM, the Eucharist began, presided over by the parish priest of San Ginés, Juan Carlos Medina, who was accompanied by numerous neighbors and friends who had come from different parts of the city.

The songs of this very special celebration were performed by men and women, unconditional collaborators led by the neighbor and teacher Clotildo Martín; their voices added a very emotional touch to the ceremony in honor of Saint Francis Xavier

At the end of the Eucharist, the procession through the neighborhood streets began. The image of the Patron Saint led the way, followed by parish priest Juan Carlos Medina, municipal representatives, and a crowd of parishioners who, with deep respect, accompanied the route until their return to the church.

There, amidst thunderous applause, the Saint was bid farewell, bringing a final touch to a day marked by faith and tradition.
