The town of Haría experienced this Saturday, February 28, one of the most anticipated days of its festive calendar with the celebration of the Carnival Parade, which gathered hundreds of residents and visitors in an atmosphere marked by color, music, and fun.
At 18:00 hours the parade started from the cemetery parking lots, starting point of a procession made up of floats, murgas, comparsas, batucadas and a large number of mascaritas who did not want to miss the event. The route advanced amidst applause and dances until culminating in Haría square, where the celebration continued.
After the parade, the public enjoyed the performance of DJ Juan Hernández, who enlivened the night with a musical selection for all tastes. The party continued with the popular open-air dance by the orchestras Banda Nueva, Furia Joven and Rikabanda, who made the attendees dance until well into the night.
The Carnival program will conclude this Sunday, March 1, at 5:00 p.m. with the Family Gala and the traditional costume contest, thus putting the final touch to a few days of celebration and neighborhood participation in the municipality.
