Omar Montes will perform at the Arrecife Carnival. Montes will perform for the first time in Lanzarote and it will be within a festival organized for young people with other artists whose names have not yet been revealed.
The Madrid native has just released 'Falsos recuerdos' (False Memories) with Abraham Mateo, a bachata that they presented at the first edition of the Army Awards.
Omar is a Spanish singer and media personality who became known for his appearances in reality shows such as Mujeres y hombres y viceversa (Women and Men and Vice Versa), Gran Hermano VIP (Big Brother VIP) and Supervivientes (Survivor), as well as for his relationship with Isa Pantoja, daughter of Isabel Pantoja.
At the same time that he won 'Supervivientes' (Survivor), Montes released the remix 'La rubia' (The Blonde), together with La Nueva Escuela, a song that managed to become a platinum record and triumph in the charts. In 2019, he released his first album, 'La vida mártir' (The Martyr Life), whose single 'Alocao' (Crazy), which he sang together with Bad Gyal, became number 1 in the music rankings, obtaining four platinum records. Later he would release songs sung jointly with other artists such as Ana Mena with 'Como el agua' (Like Water) or Abraham Mateo and Lérica with 'Pegamos tela' (We're a Hit). In 2020, Montes was nominated for the Odeón Awards in the category for best song.
