The Agustín de la Hoz House of Culture experienced an emotional Saturday morning of music, intimate and festive at the same time, with the concert offered by the Lanzarote group Malpeis Acústico accompanied as guest soloists by fellow Lanzaroteñas Sara Bermúdez, Brizeyda Cabrera, and Almudena Hernández.
The emblematic cultural space, full of audience, vibrated with the concert organized by Cultura Arrecife, directed by Abigail González, which ranged from the intimacy of ballads, boleros, and light songs, to the festive energy of Canarian sones and rhythms of South American roots such as cumbia and merengue, creating an equally warm and vibrant atmosphere.
Emotion and talent
In this regard, the councilor responsible for Cultura Arrecife in the City Council of the Lanzarote capital, Abigail González, underlines "the emotion" experienced during the concert and the "enormous talent" of its protagonists, while thanking the involvement and dedication of the public who contributed to experiencing an unforgettable morning of music".
Malpeis Acústico is made up of Miguel Ángel Cabrera on keyboards, Omar Pérez on bass and vocals, Roberto Gil on guitar, Adrián Niz on guitar and vocals, Óscar Betancort as singer, Genaro Pérez on percussion and vocals, Jorge Umpiérrez on percussion, and José Vicente Pérez on timple and vocals.
