With only three days left to vibrate on the utopian stage of La Geria, the organization reminds of the essential events to warm up the engines. In addition, the sale of tickets for buses is still active until 11.59 pm this Wednesday and, once again, users can pick up cashless wristbands in advance.
The program will begin on Thursday with a special proposal in the Sala Buñuel of El Almacén, in collaboration with the Lanzarote International Film Festival. The day will combine cinema and music in a tribute to the 30th anniversary of El Día de la Bestia, with the screening of the emblematic feature film by Álex de la Iglesia, accompanied by a live performance by the experimental duo Za! Tickets, however, sold out as soon as they were announced.
On Friday, in the same space, it will be the turn of Ona Mafalda, who will present an intimate concert at 8:00 p.m., of which only a few tickets remain on sale.
Facilities for the public: advance collection of wristbands
Committed to improving the experience of Festival lovers, the organization offers the collection of cahsless wristbands in advance. Specifically, and thanks to the collaboration with the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, a point will be installed for collection in the Islote de Fermina. It will be operational from noon on Thursday and throughout the day on Friday.
And, as a novelty this year, on Saturday, June 7, in the morning, there will be a last call for those latecomers who are strolling through the center of Arrecife. Siroco Concept Store & Coffee Bar will also become a collection and meeting point. There, attendees will be able to get the merchandising of this edition to go well dressed on Saturday. We remind you that on this occasion, in addition to the festival's own collection, the limited edition, created by the local brand 8 Islas, with t-shirts, caps and tote bags, is on sale.
And as good music cannot be missing in any milestone of this festival, in both locations the collection will be enlivened by Dj Dr. Wampush.
The Sonidos Líquidos experience is lived from KM0
As is already known, Sonidos Líquidos has managed to position itself as one of the most sustainable festivals in Europe and, proof of this, are its accreditations by the British consultancy, A Greener Future, the main auditing entity on the continent.
Among the fundamental pillars is sustainable mobility, both for the public and for the Festival staff. Thus, next Saturday buses will leave from various points of the island - Arrecife, Costa Teguise, Playa Blanca, Playa Honda, Puerto del Carmen, San Bartolomé, Tías, Teguise and Tinajo - direct to the Bodega La Geria. Tickets can still be purchased on the web and their purchase will always be round trip, with the aim of guaranteeing a safe return home, on the one hand; and that the area is completely empty at the end of the concerts, on the other.
For those who have not gone by bus, they must leave their cars in the parking lot enabled in the town of Yaiza. And, from there, they can get to the festival with the shuttle buses that will leave every 20-30 minutes.
A poster for all tastes
We remind you that this edition will feature the presence of Lori Meyers, undisputed references of national indie, as well as an eclectic cast of artists that will guarantee a vibrant experience. Queralt Lahoz will surprise with her powerful live performance, fusing flamenco, soul and urban sounds with great personality. From Canada, Wine Lips will bring their characteristic garage-punk loaded with psychedelia and energy. The poster is completed by the psychedelic atmosphere of Vera Fauna, the fresh irreverence of Brolorizo, the pop loaded with emotion of Eva Olvido, the interpretative force of Isa Izquierdo together with MVBA and, as a local representation, Los Callaos, who will put the island accent to this unrepeatable musical event.
Sonidos Líquidos is organized by Arenao Producciones with the sponsorship of Cabildo de Lanzarote, Tourism of the Canary Islands, Tourism Lanzarote, Art, Culture and Tourism Centers, Regulatory Council of the D.O. Wines of Lanzarote and Grupo TSC. Collaborators: Grupo Chacón, Relaxia Resorts and Lumar Mantenimiento.
