La Recova hosts the 'VII Senior Mascaritas Dance'

This Monday the Arrecife Carnival events continue with the 'XXXIV Adult Murga Contest'

Arrecife hosted the 'VII Senior Mascaritas Dance' last Sunday in La Recova. An event in which the people of Arrecife took advantage of the beginning of the Carnival festivities to dress up and enjoy a fun afternoon.

It was six in the afternoon when the dance floor was filled with different cowboy costumes (accompanying the theme this 2024 in the festivities), Indians, Disney Princesses, Frida and mariachi, among many other Carnival designs. In addition, La Recova featured a band with Mexican music, which livened up the ceremony for the elderly.

A 2024 Carnival, which continues in the capital and brings a program full of events. This Monday, February 5, the first phase of the 'XXXIV Adult Murga Contest' will be held at 9:00 p.m., with the participation of the murgas: 'Los Tabletúos', 'Las Enraladas' and 'Los Desahuciados'. Afterwards, Dj Agramar will perform. A few hours earlier, the Parque Islas Canarias will host the Children's Animation workshops: 'Create your Carnival Mask' and 'Tatoo', at 5:00 p.m.

This Tuesday, February 6, the second phase of the 'XXXIV Adult Murga Contest' will resume, which will feature the participation of the following murgas: 'Los Intoxicados', 'Las Inadaptadas' and 'Los Simplones'. Also highlighting the performance of 'La Chirichota' and Dj Agramar.
