The eighth island will host the first 'Island Youth Encounter', which will be held on August 10 on the sister island. This event, which will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., is aimed at young people from 12 years old and will have the participation of all the municipalities of the island and their respective Youth councils.
The Minister of Youth, Aroa Revelo, explained that this first meeting has been organized with the aim of creating a space for coexistence for the youth of the island. "We want to offer our young people the opportunity to enjoy a day full of activities, coexistence and fun in a natural and unique environment such as La Graciosa," said Revelo.
The event program will include a variety of water activities, a fun color party, music by a DJ, and leisure options based on traditional Canarian games, as well as native sports such as Canarian wrestling. "It is an excellent opportunity for our young people to meet, share experiences and participate in activities that promote the culture and sport of our land," added the Minister.
