The Teguise City Council presents the programming for the XIV edition of the White Night, which will be held under the slogan Let yourself be seen, let yourself be carried away on Friday, June 26, an invitation to enjoy one of the most anticipated cultural and leisure events of the year in La Villa de Teguise.

The streets, squares, historic buildings, and emblematic spaces of the Historic Site of La Villa de Teguise will host, from 4:00 PM until past midnight, an extensive program designed for all audiences, combining music, performing arts, heritage, gastronomy, children's activities, exhibitions, and participatory experiences.

The mayor, Olivia Duque, highlights that the White Night 2026 is consolidated “as one of the main cultural events in Lanzarote, a night to enjoy, share, and let yourself be carried away by the magic of La Villa and its streets”. Furthermore, she emphasizes that this event is an opportunity to “boost commercial and hospitality activity in Teguise and turn its historic site into a vibrant space open to everyone”.

Duque thanks all “the areas of the Teguise City Council for their involvement in making the White Night unforgettable and allowing the population to enjoy it fully”.

The Councilor for Culture and Festivities, Andoni Machín, points out that a program has been created adapted “so that all audiences can enjoy it, from the youngest to adults and young people”. “We have opted for a varied proposal, with quality shows, participatory activities, and a wide presence of local talent so that each person finds an experience that invites them to discover the White Night in their own way”, he states.

In addition, the White Night will once again count on the involvement of the commercial and business fabric of La Villa. Shops will remain open for a good part of the day, joining the celebration with special offers, promotions, and activities that will contribute to boosting the local economy and turning the streets of the historic center into a vibrant space where culture, heritage, gastronomy, and commerce go hand in hand.

Programming of the White Night 2026

The Plaza de Los Leones will be one of the main venues of the night with offerings such as the show ‘Dreams Come to Life’, starring the Youth of the Teguise Musical; the visual show ‘Masquerade’; the itinerant parade of Los Cumbacheros; the stellar performance by Cristina Ramos with her show ‘From Opera to Rock’; and a great tribute to the Puerto Rican artist Olga Tañón.

Popular music and Canarian traditions will have a prominent space in the El Hoyo and La Tahona area, where Parranda La Aldaba, Gurfines Son del Puerto, Pal Porrón, and Dani Valiente will perform. Likewise, Plaza Clavijo y Fajardo will bring together groups such as Defecto Venturi, Kilombo Improvisado, Arpegio, and Los Lola.

Local culture will also be present in spaces such as the Municipal Music School, with performances by the Adult Band and the student Clarinet Quartet. At the Teguise Mill, attendees of White Night 2026 will be able to learn about the traditional gofio-making process, enjoy a tasting, and an activity accompanied by live acoustic music.

The Timple House Museum will become a Gastronomic Palace to offer different wine and local product pairing experiences, in addition to a concert by timple player Alexis Lemes and a videomapping show projected onto the facade of the emblematic building.

The Plaza Maciot de Bethencourt will host ‘The Plaza of Dreams’, a children's space with workshops, fairytale characters, attractions, virtual reality, and the children's musical ‘Moraleja’, while La Mareta Joven will offer creative activities, immersive experiences, workshops, urban performances, and DJ sets aimed at young people.

The program will also include offerings related to fashion, dance, and contemporary art at the Ángel Guerra House of Culture, with fashion shows by local designers and brands, the special participation of renowned designer José Perea, and the performance of the contemporary dance piece ‘Lives and Turns’, by Siscu Ruz.

‘Black Night: The Pirates’ will once again be one of the main attractions, an immersive theatrical experience that will transform Santa Bárbara Castle into a stage of pirate adventures and legends with several showings throughout the night.

The cultural offering is completed with art and photography exhibitions, electronic music sessions, live performances, international gastronomy, and meeting spaces that will turn every corner of La Villa into a unique experience.

From the Teguise City Council, residents and visitors are invited to dress in white and participate in a celebration that once again turns the historic center into a large open stage where culture, creativity, heritage, and coexistence will be the main protagonists.
