The Islote de Fermina, in the capital of Lanzarote, will vibrate again with the second edition of "Noches de Fermina", with performances by the artists Grison Beatbox and DJ CHK.
It will be next Saturday, November 19, starting at 7:00 p.m., con invitations that can be reserved through the Ecoentradas website from November 2.
“Noches de Fermina is an event that was born in 2021 and is here to stay, this being one more example of the Arrecife City Council's commitment to music and culture,” says the mayor, Astrid Pérez.
Marcos Martínez is Grison Beatbox, musician, teacher, beatboxer and essential part of the La Resistencia program of Movistar +, presented by the comedian David Broncano. In 2013 he became the world champion of the Boss Loop Station contest. He has participated in the AcapelA program and has toured the world with the shows The Voca People and Mayumana-Rumba!
With his live show he has toured many venues, earning the affection of an audience that values both the songs he composes with his virtuoso vocal technique -imitating sounds and instruments with his mouth- as well as his rogue spontaneity, the humor of his plays on words and his absolute lack of shame.
Manuel Moreno is DJ CHK, runner-up of the DMC Dj Championship, the most prestigious DJ competition on the planet. He composes music by manipulating the rotation and reading of the records, a technique called 'turntablism', which constitutes one of the pillars of hip hop.
DJ CHK directs the Fuerteventura DJ School to create a quarry of young DJs on the neighboring island. We recently saw him in Arrecife en Vivo, just a few minutes, since a weather alert forced the closing time of the concerts to be brought forward.
“Noches de Fermina” is a project sponsored by the Arrecife City Council, through its Tourism area, the Government of the Canary Islands through Promotur and the Canario Institute of Cultural Development. The promoter is Hsmith Solutions, the same production company that runs Arrecife en Vivo.
“Noches de Fermina” was born in 2021 to program live, vibrant music for all audiences, in a unique and underused space such as the Islote de Fermina, in the Arrecife marina. In its first edition, it featured the Late Motiv Band and Serial Killerz, managing to fill the capacity of its two events in less than 48 hours.
