The Plaza del Carmen in Playa Blanca experienced one of the most applauded nights of the patron saint festivities this Friday with a gala that brought together seven of the most outstanding voices from the municipality of Yaiza on stage. Christian Morales, Coral Silva, Gabriela Rodríguez, Fabio Martín, Alexia Caraballo, Araceli Bravo, and Elieser Betancort moved the audience, accompanied by a band of four musicians led by maestro Fran Mauri.

The response from attendees was constant throughout the evening. Each of the artists performed two songs from the universal songbook, and the concert concluded with a choral version of Guantanamera, to which the audience filling the square joined in.

The gala also allowed attendees to learn about each singer's relationship with Playa Blanca. Before taking the stage, the soloists shared memories of their musical beginnings in a video, many of them linked to the municipality's children's and youth galas and their first steps in folklore. Although their careers have followed different paths, they all maintain a common bond: their connection to Yaiza, where their passion for music was born.

The Councilor for Festivities, Daniel Medina, highlighted the artistic level of the participants and the value of bringing them together on the same stage. "Our soloists have performed on stages in the Canary Islands and beyond, invited by regional television programs and participating in national network competition shows, which have recognized their vocal quality, so having them all together in Playa Blanca has been a real luxury," he stated.

The gala was hosted by Amaira Cedrés and Juan Quintana, while the Beatrice Senent Dance School provided transitions between performances with different staging.

The Yaiza City Council thanked all the participating artists for their involvement and highlighted their commitment to Playa Blanca and the municipality.
