El Almacén in Arrecife comes to life with carnival. The councilor of the Centers for Art, Culture and Tourism, Ángel Vázquez, traveled this Thursday to the central square of El Almacén to check the progress of the conditioning work that is being carried out around what will be the stage for the most picturesque dance west of Puerto Naos.
Vázquez was able to enjoy the transformation that is taking place in an open space that will transport the most genuine carnival-goers to the American Far West... without leaving Lanzarote.
Gunmen, redskins, gold prospectors and the most fearsome outlaws have an unavoidable date with the bonfire, laughter and fun at the Carnival that the Tourist Centers have organized in the legendary Saloon El Almacén. It will be this Saturday, February 10, between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m., and Monday the 12th, between 5:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. The reward?
An unforgettable time
On the 10th, Los Jarvac, the group 'Bomba', 'Graduado Escolar', the 'Villa Pipol' batucada and the 'Los Yaiseros' troupe, DJ 'Checha', 'Basilio Coco', the orchestra 'Banda Nueva' and 'Nandy DJ' will parade on the stage of the square. On Monday the 12th it will be the turn of Graduado Escolar, DJ Checha, the group 'Naiyimbe', the 'Los Cumbacheros' troupe, 'The Papas' & 'The Mojos', the group 'Acuarela', Carlos Chavaud and DJ Ale Ossorio.
