The Youth area of the Cabildo of Lanzarote will celebrate on February 3 at 8:00 p.m. a conference that will be led by the businessman, consultant and trainer Emilio Duró, known for his interventions on time management, optimism and the search for happiness.
The Councilor for Youth, Aroa Revelo, stressed that, "it is a unique opportunity for young people to learn about how to reflect and face the challenges of life, while finding a balance between the physical, emotional and intellectual aspects of their lives."
The intervention of Emilio Duró, which will take place in the Auditorium of the Jameos del Agua, will focus on the increase in life expectancy in the world and how this fact makes humanity face two new challenges: a spectacular increase in the population as a species and more than 40 additional years of life for individuals. "However, the simple pursuit of pleasure is no longer enough to guarantee happiness in these years. The challenge now is to learn to live and not just survive," explains the speaker.
In this talk, attendees will be able to address these challenges and how to fill life with content. It will address the management of illusion in the face of new challenges, as well as how to overcome fears and assume responsibility for our decisions.
Emilio Duró has a degree in Economics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and from the Higher School of Business Administration and Management (ESADE), as well as a Master in Business Administration from ESADE. He has shared his theories in the main media and is the author of numerous articles focused on the development of proactive attitudes in the human being.
