The program of San Ginés festivities, which will take place in August in Arrecife, is beginning to be known. After the announcement of the opening speech by the Lanzarote singer Rosana, and the show she will give in the capital, the City Council wanted to present its festival program this Tuesday with an original boat trip on the Charco de San Ginés.
The mayor, Yonathan de León, the Councilor for Festivities, Echedey Eugenio, the designer of the festival poster, Eva Van Eeck-Hoven Hernández, and the singer Rosana, have officially announced the town crier.
Rosana, very "grateful", wanted to give "a million thanks" to the City Council "for inviting me to be the town crier of these festivities", she commented while on the boat. Also for "supporting all the crazy things, like the one we are doing now", since "there is nothing more conejero than arriving by boat to the Charco de San Ginés", she adds. A special place for the singer where "all my brothers were born", she reveals.
In addition, regarding the festivities, "I hope that what is coming is up to what you want", she adds among the applause of the members of the City Council.
As announced by the Councilor for Festivities, Echedey Eugenio, in an interview this morning on Radio Lanzarote-Onda Cero, the opening speech of the festivities will be held on August 11th.
Regarding the rest of the program, Eugenio has also advanced that "in a few days" the artists who will perform on August 25th at the San Ginés festivities will be known.
