The Charco de San Ginés will be illuminated tonight with an impressive kinetic show that will amaze the audience; an event that will start at 9:00 p.m. within the program organized by the Department of Festivities of the City Council of Arrecife, led by the Deputy Mayor, Echedey Eugenio, on the occasion of the patron saint festivities of the capital.
It is a show full of lighting and sound effects that will create an attractive unique and dynamic visual experience on the bridge that connects the fairgrounds with the crossing where the traditional ventorrillos will be located.
According to the councilman, each show lasts 11 minutes and is scheduled to be repeated approximately every forty minutes, starting from the time indicated above, during all the sangineles.
“It is another of the great novelties that have been introduced this year in the festivities and we hope to surprise and excite the public with a unique and memorable experience that combines art, technology, and creativity”, adds Echedey Eugenio.
However, until night arrives, there are many other activities within a broad program that started this morning at 11:00 a.m. with the Batucada Chimbay parade and the Chola party, and that will continue at 3:00 p.m. on Reducto Beach with the opening to the public of a space with immense inflatable water slides that in some cases reach ten meters in height.
The five traditional ventorrillos located in front of the City Hall also open their doors this Saturday (from 2:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.); an area that every night from 8:30 p.m. will be enlivened with parranda music.
“Activities for all tastes and ages, from the most traditional to the most modern”, insisted the councilman, who recalls that this year it has been decided to allocate the space of La Recova to more family activities, with consoles for children to play video game tournaments on a giant screen (from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.) and summer cinema with family movies (today “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish”).
