D&M Producciones is preparing to celebrate another year of its awards within the performing arts and for this reason we will organize a grand awards gala on April 11, 2026, at the San Bartolomé theater on the island of Lanzarote to present these distinctions.
At this gala, special awards chosen unanimously by the D&M team and an artistic cabinet that has given its approval will also be presented. These awards are: “Artistic Trajectory,” “Voice,” “Cinema,” “Stage,” “Smile,” “Sound Legacy,” and “TV Soul,” in addition to the “LIFE” Award, emphasizing the recognition of the artist's personal and professional life.
The D&M Awards committee has unanimously decided to grant the Malpaís de Cristal award in its 2026 edition to actress Nadia de Santiago. This recognition was created with the purpose of distinguishing those figures who, through their professional excellence, manage to establish a deep and authentic dialogue with the identity of a territory.
In their case, this distinction is based on **two essential pillars**. On the one hand, they reward her impeccable film career and her evolution as a complete creator; her ability to explore memory and human sensitivity—especially evident in projects like *The Time I Give You*—reflects an artistic honesty that the organization considers "vital in today's cultural landscape."Beyond her public persona, the jury has valued her **organic connection to the island of Lanzarote**, as she "has managed to capture and project the philosophy of 'art-nature', integrating herself into the Lanzarotean landscape with a respect and sobriety that honor César Manrique's legacy.
