One of the recordings of the new TVE program Brigada Tech will take place next Thursday, May 4, between 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., in the Jameos del Agua. According to the Centers for Art, Culture and Tourism (CACT), this production tries to "make people lose their fear" of technology and "helps to use it" so that the viewer "does not miss the train of digital advances."

Asturian Luján Argüelles will be the host of a program that will have the help of three grandmothers who will play the role of reporters representing that society that still shows reluctance to all the advances offered by the digital world. Victoria, Charo and Pilar are curious women who long to learn new digital concepts, but they will also present us with human stories of people or companies that have prospered personally or economically thanks to the digitization of their lives and/or businesses.

In addition, Brigada Tech has figures of digital mentors: influencers with thousands of followers on their networks, who put their knowledge and skill at the service of all and bring an air of freshness and modernity both in the reports and in the auditorium. On this occasion we are accompanied by Nerea Garmendia (@nerea_garmendia) as a guest, and Ger (@gersanc) and Lala Chus (@lalachus3) as mentors.

Brigada Tech is broadcast weekly on TVE and addresses issues such as what the metaverse is, what the digital twin is for, what uses 5G has, how banking apps are used, what an avatar is, or what the difference is between virtual reality and immersive reality. Each week, the itinerant set travels through the different autonomous communities to tell first-hand the opportunities presented by the digital world and bring innovation and progress to all corners of the country.

Those interested in spending "a fun time" can attend for free as audience members by registering until May 3 at the email publico@srmono.es.
