The Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands (TSJC), at its headquarters in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, registered this Friday the 'request' of the Government of the Canary Islands regarding the authorization or not of the measures adopted on the occasion of the end of the state of alarm to fight against the coronavirus in the archipelago.
Thus, after being registered, it has been transferred to the Public Prosecutor's Office to report, according to sources from the TSJC.
From this moment, the Chamber has three calendar days to resolve, that is, until next Monday, although the response to this request could occur this Saturday.
In the event that the Chamber rejects the measures, the Government of the Canary Islands should go to the Supreme Court, and in this case it would have five days to resolve.
