The First Section of the Provincial Court of Las Palmas will try this Monday in Arrecife G.G.A, a man accused of carrying different types of drugs in Lanzarote.
The events date back to August 1, 2020, around 00.30 hours in the morning. At that time, G.G.A. was inside a car, driving along La Porra street in Arrecife. According to the Prosecutor's Office in its qualification brief, the accused allegedly carried 12.4 grams of Methylenedioxymethamphetamine, known as MDMA, as well as 5.75 of amphetamine and another 2.74 grams of MDMA, 0.05 grams of LSD and two pieces of hashish, as well as 1.25 grams of marijuana. In the illicit market these substances would have amounted to 680,094 euros.
Thus, during the arrest, the accused was seized 170 euros.
These facts constitute a crime against public health. For him, the Public Prosecutor's Office requests five years of prison with the accessory special disqualification for the right of passive suffrage during the term of the sentence and a fine of 2,040.282 euros, with the payment of the subsidiary personal responsibility of two months in the event of non-compliance with the payment of the sanction.
