The First Section of the Provincial Court will try J.M.G.F. on May 28 for a crime against public health after carrying 40'26 grams of cocaine distributed in two packages with a value in the illicit market that reached 1,009'26 euros.
In those two packages, the accused carried in one of them a compact stone and in the other the substance in powder with the aim of distributing it later to third parties.
In addition, during the events that took place on November 17, 2021 in the Argana neighborhood, in Arrecife, the agents seized from the individual a knife with a 15-centimeter blade at the time of the arrest.
Likewise, the accused has a criminal record not computable for the purposes of recidivism, since he was sentenced in 2007 to seven years in prison for a crime of rape.
For this crime against public health, the Prosecutor's Office is asking for the accused a sentence of four and a half years and a fine of 3,027.78 euros with the subsidiary personal responsibility of 2 months of deprivation of liberty. In addition, the Public Prosecutor's Office also proceeds to his special disqualification for the right to passive suffrage during the time of the sentence.
