The judicial authority investigating the case of the girls Anna and Olivia, allegedly murdered by their father in Tenerife, will authorize in the coming days the cessation of the search operations of the oceanographic vessel Ángeles Alvariño in search of the bodies of the alleged murderer Tomás Gimeno and his daughter Anna, after concluding, both the instructor and the operations manager of the vessel, that it is "impossible" to continue with the search given the steepness of the submarine terrain.

The magistrate of the Court of Violence against Women number two of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the competent body for the investigation of the case, has made this decision on Wednesday, after receiving a report from the operations manager of the ship who describes the exploration as "completely unapproachable" in the area where new results could hypothetically be located.
