The First Section of the Provincial Court of Las Palmas has sentenced A.B., a bar worker, this Wednesday in Arrecife for selling 60 euros worth of cocaine to a customer in Argana, in Arrecife.
The events date back to February 11, 2022. According to the Prosecutor's Office's indictment, the convicted A.B. was working in the bar when he sold 0.94 grams of cocaine to a person, with 67% purity, a substance that would reach 56.66 euros.
The defense and the Public Prosecutor's Office have reached an agreement by which the convicted man will go from serving four years in prison to one year, six months and one day. Likewise, he is also imposed a fine of 58.66 euros which, if not paid, will deprive him of liberty for three more days.
In addition, during the conformity trial, the Prosecutor's Office has specified that the convicted man is of Portuguese nationality and not from Guinea Bissau as it initially appeared in the Public Prosecutor's Office's indictment.
