The Court of Instruction number 3 of Telde (Gran Canaria) has agreed this Tuesday afternoon to the provisional, communicated and unconditional imprisonment of the two detainees last Saturday as alleged perpetrators of the shooting murder of Jonathan Josué Delgado Bordón, 38 years old, in San José de las Llongueras.

According to the press office of the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands in a statement, the two detainees are also charged with alleged crimes of illegal possession of weapons and document forgery.

The investigated refused to testify in court, details the TSJC note.

The two alleged perpetrators of the death of Delgado Bordón, alias 'El Conejero', are of Colombian nationality and were arrested by the National Police last Saturday in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

It is suspected that they were hired to commit the crime, according to police sources.

Delgado Bordón was murdered last Thursday afternoon in Telde (Gran Canaria) by five shots to the abdomen fired by an individual who fled on a moped, in a crime that is being investigated in the context of possible revenge between groups dedicated to drug trafficking.

The victim resided in the vicinity of where he was shot and was allegedly linked to drug trafficking
