The First Section of the Las Palmas Court will try next Monday in Arrecife a man accused of a crime against public health. I.C.S. allegedly engaged in the sale of drugs in Las Maretas street in Playa Blanca, but also distributed in different areas of the island after advertising on contact pages.
In particular, on June 26, 2019, the accused arrived at the Lanzarote Airport allegedly carrying a cooler bag with a transparent liquid substance, distributed in four bottles, a package lined with aluminum foil and four more bags with whitish substance, a package lined with aluminum foil inside which had a yellow plastic bag weighing 10 grams.
According to the prosecution's indictment, it was 8.43 grams of amphetamine with a purity of 7.10% grams, 27.18 grams of amphetamine with a purity of 20.80%; 13.62 grams of amphetamine with a purity of 21.43%; 14.96 grams of amphetamine with a purity of 9.99%.
This substance in the illicit market to which it was destined would have reached a price of 1,672.15 euros. At the same time, the defendant at the time of his arrest was seized, a notebook with accounting records of sales, 3,820 euros, two packages of hermetic bags of 100 units.
The Prosecutor's Office asks for the accused a sentence of five years in prison and an economic sanction of 5,016.45 euros, as well as the subsidiary personal responsibility of two months in prison, and the accessory special disqualification for the right to passive suffrage.
