The Investigating Court number 3 of Arrecife agreed last Tuesday, November 5, to the provisional release of a youth football coach from Orientación Marítima arrested that same day by the National Police and accused of a crime against sexual freedom.

The judicial body has not specified what type of crime against sexual freedom he is accused of.

According to the Court's Communication Office, the Court imposed as precautionary measures the obligation to appear in court on the 1st and 15th of each month (apud acta obligation) and a restraining order to the allegedly assaulted minor.

In addition, the Court authorized the entry and search of the investigated person's home, where computer equipment was seized. The case has been distributed among the investigating courts of the aforementioned judicial district.

According to La Voz, the club has decided to preventively remove the youth football coach after learning about "the rumors" and the publication in the press of the situation, as stated by Basilio Coco, the coordinator of Orientación Marítima, to this editorial team.
