The First Section of the Provincial Court of Las Palmas will try next Tuesday a man accused of sexually assaulting a girl under 13 years of age, daughter of the one who was at that time his partner.

The events being judged date back to 2016 and 2017, when the accused was in a relationship with the girl's mother. According to the prosecution's indictment, the man allegedly took advantage of the moments when he was alone with the girl to "touch her genitals, even inserting his fingers into her vagina on multiple occasions."

Likewise, on another occasion and always according to the Public Prosecutor's document, the accused allegedly inserted his penis into the girl's vagina, without using protection and without it being recorded that he ejaculated. In addition, on another occasion he licked her genitals.

The Public Prosecutor's Office assures that these facts constitute a continuous crime of sexual assault on a minor under 13 years of age. For this reason, he requests twelve years in prison, with the accessory of absolute disqualification during the term of the sentence, supervised release, a restraining order of more than 500 meters and the prohibition of communicating by any type of means in 20 years, as well as participation in sexual education programs for eight years.

Likewise, he also requests the payment of civil liability to compensate the minor with 15,000 euros.
