The University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will keep open from Tuesday, March 17 and until Friday, April 17 the period to complete the self-enrollment in the University Entrance Exam (PAU) of 2026, as well as early pre-registration to begin Degree studies.

The ULPGC has reported in a statement this Monday that on its website are already published the dates and times of the PAU, which will be held in June and July for the ordinary and extraordinary calls, with the venues and a sample of the admission grade calculation for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The PAU self-enrollment is the first manifestation of students' interest in taking the university entrance exam, although their definitive enrollment is subject to the completion of the corresponding Baccalaureate or Vocational Training Cycle, the note indicates.

During the same period, students may also pre-register for the Degrees they wish to pursue, choosing up to a maximum of 6 degrees by order of preference -which may be modified during the general pre-registration period in June-, as access will be assigned according to their grade in that order.

The offer of Degree programs for the next academic year can also be consulted on the ULPGC website.

To facilitate this process, the list of cut-off grades for the 2025/2026 academic year's degrees, which will serve as guidance for the following year, is already available in the Access Guide, published on the institutional website, as well as public prices, scholarship information, residences, progress and permanence regulations, legislation and interest, and management instructions.

Furthermore, the ULPGC has a simulator to calculate admission grades for each of the degrees it offers, in order to help future students weigh their subjects and exams.

Future university students must take into account that, for the PAU self-enrollment and early pre-registration, they must have a user ID and a password unique university ID and must also have digital identification, the note indicates.

New students must access the user registration to be provided with their university ID and password free of charge, for which they need to provide a valid email address to which they have access.

The university has reminded that credentials (user ID and password) have an expiration of 7 days after their generation, so it is advisable that they are requested only at the moment the student is going to have their first contact with the ULPGC.
