The MICROSISTEMAS Private Integrated Vocational Training Center has received a visit from the Basque Culinary Center with the aim of presenting its training offer first-hand and exploring possible collaborations for the implementation of training programs in the hospitality sector in Lanzarote.
CIFP Microsistemas, with a 43-year history in vocational training, has established itself as a benchmark in education in the Canary Islands. The center is authorized by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, Physical Activity and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands to officially teach up to 16 Middle or Higher Grade cycles, as well as 3 Double Higher degrees. Its commitment to academic excellence and its close relationship with companies have allowed it to offer programs that respond to the demands of the labor market and the needs of society. Its educational offer is aimed at preparing highly qualified professionals adapted to the demands of the sector.
For its part, the Basque Culinary Center is a pioneering institution in the gastronomic field, located in San Sebastián since 2011. Its innovative model integrates training, research, innovation and entrepreneurship through its Faculty of Gastronomic Sciences and BCC Innovation, its Technological Center in Gastronomy.
During the meeting, both entities analyzed synergies and possible lines of cooperation to develop initiatives in Lanzarote, contributing to the strengthening of the hotel sector on the island by training professionals with high-level training.
This approach marks the beginning of a possible collaboration that could enrich the educational offer on the island, promoting innovation and talent development in a key sector for the local economy.
