The Government Council of the Canary Islands has approved the implementation of new official university master's degrees.
The University Master's Degree in Teaching Digital Competencies and the Erasmus Mundus University Master's Degree in Islands and Sustainability will be taught by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) in collaboration with Háskóli Íslands - University of Iceland (Iceland), Panepistimio Egeou (Greece) and Rijksuniversiteit Groningen - University of Groningen (Netherlands).
These postgraduate courses seek to train professionals with advanced skills in the digital field and in the sustainability of the islands, integrating interdisciplinary knowledge and offering quality training that has been endorsed by the Canary Islands Agency for University Quality and Educational Evaluation (ACCUEE), reports the executive branch.
The creation of the University Master's Degree in Quantum Technologies, taught by the University of La Laguna, the University of Murcia, the University of Zaragoza, the Menéndez Pelayo International University, the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the Universitat de València (Estudi General), has also been approved.
