The Ministry of Universities of the Government of the Canary Islands has published the second list of university scholarships to study at the University of Las Palmas and the University of La Laguna.  There are 980 scholarships with a budget of 1.7 million euros.

In the first list of aid published at the beginning of the year, 1,287 university students from the archipelago benefited.

These scholarships are intended to cover the expenses derived from the payment of public prices for tuition, transportation and residence of university higher education, for people residing in the Canary Islands.

They are designed for those who are pursuing university studies in public centers of the archipelago during the 2023/2024 academic year and do not meet the requirements to benefit from all or some of the modalities of university scholarships called by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.

In the next few days, the definitive list of scholarships corresponding to students who are in universities outside the islands will be published.
