The number of travelers who have visited Morocco last October has increased by 39% compared to the same month last year and Spanish tourism is the fastest growing, 64% thanks in large part to the increase in low-cost air connections between Spain and the neighboring country.

The Minister of Tourism, Fatima Zahra Ammor, said in this regard: "We are on track to attract more than 14 million tourists," which was the country's goal for this year

In addition, Morocco hopes that the partial celebration of the 2030 World Cup in its territory will increase the volume of tourists to double the current number.

The Government celebrates the holding of the sporting event together with five other countries as a great achievement: Spain and Portugal, which will have a prominent role, and Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, which will host some matches very early on.

Morocco recalls that the Qatar World Cup brought 1.4 million tourists to this small country in the Persian Gulf, although in the case of the next World Cup, Morocco will share the spotlight with Spain and Portugal.
