The Lanzarote Tourism Federation (FTL) has concluded a new exercise of the "Comprehensive Tourist Entrepreneurship Support Service", consolidated since 2017 as a key tool for promoting entrepreneurship in the sector.
Coinciding with the close of 2024, the association is launching a new promotional video developed with the aim of making the Entrepreneurship Service promoted by the association known to future entrepreneurs with the support of the Employment Area of the Cabildo of Lanzarote.
Thanks to the FTL's "Comprehensive Tourist Entrepreneurship Support Service", more than 500 consultancies have been provided to entrepreneurs and companies, helping them transform their ideas into sustainable businesses, aligned with the values of innovation, sustainability and authenticity that characterize Lanzarote and La Graciosa as destinations.
Likewise, the training activities and attendance at events have significantly expanded the impact and visibility of this service.

Throughout 2024, five talks have been offered to students of the Training Programs in Alternation with Employment (PFAE) of various municipalities. These sessions have been key to motivating students to discover business opportunities and learn about the resources available to start a business in this sector.
Participation in the Tías Employment Fair was another of the Service's relevant milestones during this year. This event allowed sharing the concerns and demands of tourist entrepreneurs with other training and employment agents, and also served to publicize the Service to potential entrepreneurs who visited the fair.
In addition, thanks to the agreement reached in January 2024 between the FTL and the Teguise City Council to have a service office in La Graciosa, the Service Technician has been able to attend monthly and in person to entrepreneurs and businesswomen of the neighboring island, thus strengthening the promotion of local economic development.
"This service represents the FTL's commitment to entrepreneurship and self-employment, always linked to innovation and sustainability, fundamental pillars for competitive and responsible tourism", said the president of the Lanzarote Tourism Federation, Susana Pérez.
In this sense, the promotional video, available in Spanish and English, aims to be a strategic tool to publicize the resources that the Federation makes available to business people and future entrepreneurs, motivating the promotion of new projects.
For this, it will be available through the web, social networks and communication channels of the FTL, to achieve its maximum dissemination.
With the closing of the 2024 financial year and the launch of this promotional video, the FTL reaffirms its commitment to the economic and social development of the island, highlighting the importance of supporting initiatives that promote entrepreneurship and self-employment in strategic sectors such as tourism.
