The president of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, José Valle, has attended the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) 2025 to reinforce the institution's commitment to promoting the island as a quality tourist destination and unique experiences.
During his visit, Valle highlighted the importance of working closely with public administrations to project the best image of Lanzarote and La Graciosa.
“We are proud of the excellent work done by our administrations to represent our island at such an important event. The Lanzarote and La Graciosa stands are an example of professionalism and dedication that show the best of our destination,” said the president.
From the Chamber they emphasize that "thanks to the joint work carried out, Lanzarote is managing to consolidate itself as a quality destination, almost reaching the set objective of a destination expenditure of 200 euros per tourist".
They also emphasize that Lanzarote is the island that has grown the least in number of visitors in 2024, and where the expenditure per tourist has increased the most.
“These results demonstrate that betting on public-private collaboration and a sustainable tourism model pays off, and we will continue working to reinforce this trend,” said José Valle.
Gastronomy, culture and primary sector
From the Chamber, we seek to promote a tourism model that prioritizes the generation of income in the island economy more than occupation, promoting experiences that value and make visible the wealth of the island in sectors such as gastronomy, culture and the primary sector.
“We want a tourism that gives opportunities to all the economic sectors of Lanzarote. Our objective is to attract a higher quality visitor, who values our unique experiences and contributes to the sustainable development of our island economy,” added Valle.
Fitur 2025 is consolidated as a key platform for the international projection of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, where the Chamber of Commerce reaffirms its commitment to innovation and sustainability in the tourism sector.
