Papagayo beach in Lanzarote has been named by the magazine Viajes de National Geographic as one of the most desired in Spain for this summer. A ranking that is completed by beaches from different places such as the Balearic Islands, Catalonia, the Basque Country, Andalusia or Galicia, among others.
A beach that is located on the Costa del Rubicón, in the south of the island, with golden sand and calm waters. In addition, it has a very significant detail: it is sheltered from the northwest winds.
An area made up of several beaches, located in the Natural Park of Los Ajaches. To get there, you can arrive from the tourist enclave of Punta Blanca, both on foot and by bicycle.
