Lanzarote launches direct flight to Marrakech

Marrakech is one of the four imperial cities of Morocco, it has the largest traditional market in the country, as well as one of the busiest squares in Africa

The island of Lanzarote has for the first time a direct flight to the Moroccan city of Marrakech. The low-cost airline Ryanair has inaugurated direct connection on Mondays and Fridays with two frequencies from César Manrique airport.

With a duration of just over an hour, the flights depart from Lanzarote every Monday at 08.05 hours, arriving at Marrakech airport at 9.30 and on Fridays departing from César Manrique at 11.40 hours, arriving at 13.05 hours.

To return, flights depart on Mondays from Marrakech at 06.05 hours, arriving in Lanzarote at 07.30 hours and on Fridays at 9.40, arriving on the island at 11.05 hours.

With 1.5 million inhabitants, Marrakech is one of the four imperial cities of Morocco. It was founded in 1062 by the Almoravids and has the largest traditional market in the country, as well as one of the busiest squares in Africa, Djemaa el Fna.
