The airline Binter will double this summer the frequencies between Lanzarote and Madeira, according to an announcement by the company at the Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa and reported by the tourism news agency Hosteltur.
If during the summer of 2025 Binter only scheduled one flight a week to connect Lanzarote with Funchal, this summer session the rabbit-keepers will be able to choose between two frequencies a week.
For the Canary Islands as a whole, frequencies with Madeira will grow by 7% during July and August. Tenerife South will have two frequencies with Madeira per week and Fuerteventura one.
In the case of Gran Canaria, the round island will have eight weekly flights with Madeira in each direction during July and August.
In addition, Binter brings forward to June its direct flight between Tenerife North and Ponta Delgada (Azores). Gran Canaria has connection with Azores between April and October.
The Madeiran archipelago has two inhabited islands, Madeira and Porto Santo. The capital is Funchal and is located on Madeira, the island of greater extension and on which BinterCanarias planes land.
