The accommodation rate of Lanzarote has increased by 30.2% since 2019 to reach an average of 110 euros per room, according to Exceltur, an association that includes the main companies in the sector, in the document of tourist perspectives and business balance that has just been published.
The island is thus the fifth destination in the entire country where the accommodation rate has grown the most compared to before the pandemic, only behind Ibiza, (47.5%), Costa de Asturias (47.2%); Costa de Bizkaia (39.7%) and Menorca, (35.3%).
After Lanzarote are Costa Brava (29.8%), Costa del Sol (28.9%), Costa Blanca 26.7%), Rías Baixas (25.4%) and Mallorca (25.2%)
Within the Canary archipelago, the second island, after Lanzarote, with the highest percentage growth is Tenerife, where rates have increased by 23.2%, occupying the eleventh position in the country, and the third is Fuerteventura, with an increase of 20.2%, which places it in the thirteenth place.
Next is La Gomera, which with a growth of 18.2% occupies the fourteenth place. Gran Canaria occupies the 18th position, with an increase in its rates since 2019 of 14.7%.
