The Tourist Centers will extend the hours to the Fire Mountains and the Cueva de los Verdes coinciding with the “remarkable” increase in visitors expected for the summer season.
Thus, between July 1 and September 15, the Fire Mountains will open their doors from 09.00 to 17.30 hours.
The last visit to the Route of the Volcanoes will take place at 16.30 hours.
El Diablo restaurant, the heart of the center, will serve its dishes made with the heat of the volcano between 12.00 and 16.15 hours. For its part, the cafeteria service will be available to visitors between 09.15 and 17.15 hours.
In the Cueva de los Verdes
On the other hand, the center located in the municipality of Haría will open its doors between 10.00 and 18.00 hours during the summer season.
The last guided tour inside the volcanic tube of the La Corona volcano will take place at 17.00 hours.
Similarly, it is recalled that during this period the LZ-205 road will have only ascending direction to facilitate access to the center.
As a general recommendation, from the Tourist Centers it is suggested to enjoy both centers first thing in the morning, or on Sundays, days when the influx of visitors is traditionally reduced.
