The average rate of hotel establishments in Arrecife reached 132.31 euros last July, according to data provided by the Canary Islands Institute of Statistics (ISTAC).
Never before since data exists have the city's hotels reached such a high figure per night. This is a 57% increase in prices compared to July last year when they charged an average of 83.88 euros.
Meanwhile, the hotel rate remained at 115.96 euros last July in the municipality of Teguise, while in Tías it reached 118.52 euros.
The average per night of all hotels in the archipelago last July was 126.15 euros.
As usual, the hotels in Yaiza were the most expensive on the island, charging an average of 164.25 euros.
It is not the first time that hotel prices in Arrecife have exceeded those in Teguise, but it had never happened before with those in Tías as well.
On the other hand, prices in the hotels of the municipality of Haría, which is also offered by ISTAC, remained at an average of 60.6 euros per night.
