The average daily rate in tourist accommodations in Arrecife in November exceeded one hundred euros for the first time in its history, specifically reaching 100.81 euros, according to data from the Canary Islands Institute of Statistics (ISTAC).
The accommodations in the capital thus widely exceeded the average rate in the accommodations of the municipality of Teguise, which remained at 88.57 euros.
The tourist establishments of Arrecife have surpassed those of Teguise on some occasions, but never before had they done so by such a large difference.
The increase in prices in the capital was so high in November, in October the average rate in Arrecife was 80.6 euros, that they also approached the average price in Tías, where it reached 107.5 euros.
The tourist accommodations in Yaiza are again the ones that achieve a higher accommodation rate on the island in November. They reached 135.6 euros per night.
In contrast, the cheapest accommodations on the island are those in Haría, where the average daily rate in November remained last month at 76.1 euros.
The ISTAC does not offer data from Tinajo and San Bartolomé, but according to the Lanzarote Data Center, the average rate in the entire island of Lanzarote has increased by 15.6% in November compared to the previous year to an average of 113 euros.
