The Department of Urban Planning and Technical Office of the Arrecife City Council, led by Maciot Cabrera, has proposed this Wednesday, December 11, to the Local Government Board, the approval of several urban licenses that will allow the creation of a total of 41 new homes in the capital of Lanzarote, in addition to parking spaces and the expansion of existing buildings.

Among the outstanding projects is the extension of a license for the construction of a two-story building and basement, with 35 homes and 51 parking spaces, on Martínez Montañez and Jesús Soto Morales streets.

Likewise, the request for a license to build a five-house building on Avenida Los Geranios has been approved, in addition to the approval for the expansion of an existing building on Muyay street, where a house will be added on the upper floor above a garage with three parking spaces.

The Councilor for Urban Planning, Maciot Cabrera, has highlighted "the City Council's commitment to the orderly and sustainable development of the city." "These licenses are an example of the Technical Office's constant work to facilitate new housing opportunities in Arrecife, responding to the needs of our population and promoting responsible urban planning adapted to the current reality."

In addition to these licenses, a request pending submission of a project for the demolition of a building has also been addressed, which will allow future actions on the corresponding site.
