19% of the homes that were rented through idealista during the first quarter of 2025 in the province of Las Palmas were not even 24 hours on the market, the percentage is the same as a year ago, according to a study published by idealista.com.
In the other Canary province, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, ads last even less. 28% of the apartments are gone in less than 24 hours, double the national average which stands at 14%.
The city of Girona is the one with the highest percentage of express rentals, since 47% of the homes that were rented in the capital of Girona did not even last 24 hours on idealista, while in Lleida they were 36%.
They are followed by the cities of Ávila, Burgos and Zamora (27% in all 3 cases) and then Ceuta, Guadalajara and Teruel (25% in the 3 capitals).
Among the large markets, the highest incidence of express rentals occurs in Valencia (24%), Palma (23%) and San Sebastián (20%). Next are the cities of Bilbao and Barcelona with 18%, and after them Málaga with 16% and Alicante (15%). Madrid (14%) and Seville (14%) are at the national average.
The only cities in which this phenomenon is below 10% are Cáceres (5%), Badajoz (7%), Segovia (8%), Logroño and Santander (9% in both cases).
